Tamara Jernigan was born May 7, 1959, in Chattanooga, TN. She received degrees from Stanford University (BS, 1981; MS 1983), University of California, Berkeley (MA, 1985) and Rice University (PhD, 1988). Story Musgrave (b. August 19, 1935, Boston, MA) is a physician and astronaut. He recieved 6 degrees from Syracuse University (BA, 1958), UCLA (MBA, 1959), Marietta Collge (BA, 1960), Columbia University (MD, 1964), University of Kentucky (MS 1966), and University of Houston (MA, 1987).
